Is counselling confidential?
Yes counselling is a confidential service. Registered counsellors are governed by, and adhere to a strict Code of Ethics. Confidentiality is kept at all times except when someone may be serious risk or as required by law.
What is corporate or business counselling?
Most businesses refer to this as Corporate Consulting. Services offered may include conflict resolution, mediation, training, assisting with change, managing of staff, management training just to name a few services offered.
What is a modality?
Modality is the term that refers to the mode or way a therapy is delivered and experienced. A therapeutic modality refers to the model used by the therapist to assist the client.
What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis, in a therapeutic setting as opposed to a stage setting. It is a state of concentration and focused attention that is used in conjunction with different therapies to assist in gaining a faster and longer lasting outcome. Hypnosis does not help everyone.
What can hypnosis help with?
Some disorders that hypnosis can help with include anxiety, chronic pain, fears and phobias, smoking, panic attacks, stress, obesity, and sleep problems.
